Georgian Silver Chest From Euston Hall
A large painted pine chest with original lock to the centre & later Chubb locks either side. The brass Chubb locks date from the 1860s and are stamped with consecutive serial numbers. Inside, there is an additional lockable box to the bottom of one side. This chest has a lovely unrestored 'dry' finish & originates from Euston Hall in Suffolk, the seat of the Dukes of Grafton.
